Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity – Feed My Starving Children
We’re looking forward to an upcoming volunteer event at Feed My Starving Children in Tempe on Tuesday, April 14th, from 4:45–6:30 PM. This is a meaningful opportunity to give back to our community while working alongside fellow CPCUs. We encourage you to register and feel free to bring friends, family members, or coworkers to help pack meals and make an impact together.

May Diversity Luncheon – Registration Opening Soon
Registration will be opening soon for our May Diversity Luncheon, taking place on Wednesday, May 20th at The Henry. This luncheon will feature our Diversity & Inclusion Chair, Chuck Ohler, presenting “Belonging & Performance: How Inclusion Drives Insurance Results.”

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, this session will examine how a culture of belonging and psychological safety leads to stronger insurance outcomes—from underwriting accuracy and claims decision‑making to cross‑functional collaboration. When professionals feel comfortable raising concerns, asking questions, or challenging assumptions, performance improves and stress decreases.

We’ll also explore how different life and work experiences shape perceptions of safety in the workplace, and how leaders can foster environments where all professionals can contribute confidently and bring their best thinking forward. Participants will leave with practical, actionable strategies they can apply immediately to strengthen team culture, reduce errors, support well‑being, and drive sustainable performance.

Save the Date – June Social Event
Looking ahead, please save the date for Friday, June 27th, for an Arizona Rattlers game in Glendale at Desert Diamond Arena. Indoor arena football is a fun and casual way to connect with fellow members—and a great way to beat the summer heat. More details will be shared soon.
