September Pinball Event 🕹️

Join us for our September social event at Starfighters Arcade in Mesa on Saturday, September 19, from 4:00–7:00 PM! We’ll have pizza, plenty of pinball, and a high-score contest for those looking to put their skills to the test. Family and friends are welcome, so feel free to bring a guest!

If you’re unable to arrive right at 4:00 PM, you’ll still receive free admission to Starfighters Arcade when they open to the public at 7:00 PM, giving you the opportunity to stay and enjoy the arcade even longer.

In2Risk – October 19–21 🎰

In2Risk is coming up October 19–21 in Las Vegas! We hope to see many Arizona CPCUs there for several days of learning, networking, and connecting with insurance professionals from across the country.

Our chapter president, Kelsey Connors, will also be co-hosting a session with the CPCU Society Publications Committee on Tuesday. The session will be a writing workshop with a fun Las Vegas twist, using Vegas movies as the theme. If you’re attending In2Risk, be sure to join us!

Save the Date: I-Day – November 13 📅

Mark your calendars for our annual I-Day event on Friday, November 13, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Rio Salado Conference Center.

This year’s I-Day will focus on the changing landscape in our industry, including the challenges and opportunities facing today’s risk and insurance professionals.

2026 Scholarship Recipients 🎓

We are excited to recognize our 2026 Arizona CPCU Society scholarship recipients, Avarie Wong from Arizona State University and Kellen Phelps from Northern Arizona University.

Avarie and Kellen each received a $2,500 scholarship toward their academic pursuits. Supporting the next generation of insurance and risk professionals is an important part of our chapter’s mission, and we are proud to invest in these students and their futures.

As we begin looking ahead to 2027, the Arizona CPCU Society will have board positions available in a variety of capacities, including opportunities related to areas such as Scholarships and Diversity.

Serving on the board is a great way to give back to the industry, build relationships, develop leadership skills, and help shape the future of our chapter. If you’re interested in becoming more involved, we encourage you to reach out to us to learn more.

2027 Membership Renewal & Member Feedback 📣

As we approach the end of the year, CPCU Society membership dues will soon be renewing for 2027. We hope you’ll continue your membership and remain part of the Arizona CPCU Society community.

We also encourage you to invite colleagues and other insurance and risk professionals to become involved with the chapter. Growing our community creates more opportunities to learn, connect, and support the future of our industry.

Later this year, we’ll also be sending member surveys to gather feedback on our events and programs. Your input helps us understand what is working well and what you’d like to see from the chapter in the future.
